I'm an aspiring musician, so I don't want to spend a ton of money on FL Studio... I've also been a user of LMMS for the last 3-4 years, and I'm falling in love with it. However, there are many great features that are on FL Studio (that I've only seen videos of)...

One of those is the cool scroll-magnifying setting that they have (see this video, at 0:08: https://youtu.be/vxnwEYfX9D8?t=8s) It's like a zoom button built into the scroll bar, which I think should be a feature of every app that has a scroll bar and a zoom feature... It really saves the trouble of having to go to the drop-down list (which gets hidden away by other plugins sometimes)...

I thought it would be a really cool addition to LMMS...

It would, if it wasent part of lmms already :p
We do one better
Hold sh + mouse-wheel -> scroll horizontally
Hold ctrl + mouse-wheel -> zoom

However, it's not quite the same feeling... The zoom is quantized into multiples of 25... Can't it be fluid and flexibly changing?

No, that is not implemented

25% > 50% > 100% > 200% > 400% > 800% > 1600%

I also find that intermediate values are missing.
