Hi, I use LMMS version 0.4.14 and when I click on add steps the buttons disappear, does anyone know how to solve this problem? thank you

Yes.. Start with a new DL !
What is your OS?
1.2.0 is available in RC6 now
Your version is completely outdated, and unsupported
You will hardly recognize lmms, but you can start here:

And that version is replaced too!
So Go here and find the version for your OS:

Back up all your own stuff, before you reinstall

Then you should definitively update to RC6!
This is the installer for your x64 pc:

As i said: Backup your own stuff before you uninstall your obsolete lmms
