Lmms crashes when I load a project with a vst

Whenever I try to load a project with a vst lmms crashes does anyone know how to fix this or are these projects gone

However.. What LMMS version are you using. Our 1.2.0 RC6 is significantly better in vst-support, than the 1.1.3
