Okay: From 0 to 1:27 secs, the shaker sound, plays a bit out of sync
with the pad sound and other instruments.
But overall, this track has a cool surreal sound to it though.

lol you mean the whole time the shaker is present? anyways i think its out of sync cuz he's using the cicada sample from the fx list

The cicada sound actually slightly out of sync for whatever reason on purpose. This is actually an unfinished version, here's the most recent one

Okay, it all makes sense now.
I did have this strange suspicion, that you did that deliberately.
Now I'll listen to the other version.
