I gues this is a stupid question but I am following some FL studio tutorials to learn synthwave In some videos they use effects that can be downloaded. But I have no idea how to use them in lmms. I know how to load vst with vestige and I can load effects in the same way but I guess that is not how to treat them

Hi,

1. You can create a new directory where you will place your VST.

2. Then you have to tell LMMS where this directory is (via Edit> Configuration> Directories> VST plugin directory).

3. In principle:
- all VST instruments (VSTi) open via VeSTige,
- all VST effects (VSTe) open via the FX tab of the instruments or via the FX CHAIN of the mixer channels.

Wow, so it was that easy I had not set the correct path to VST before so I manually browsed the vst. Very logical that they pop up in FX now when the folder is correct. Yes it works
