Version 1.2 AppImage doesn't execute on Fedora 28?

I downloaded the LMMS 1.2 RC6 AppImage and I flagged it as an executable using chmod. When I went to run it, nothing happened, so I opened up a terminal window and ran ./lmms.AppImage (to see if I got an error message). It returned this:
bash: ./lmms-1.2.0-rc6-linux-x86_64.AppImage: cannot execute binary file: Exec format error
I'm running Fedora 28 with Cinnamon and have QT5 installed.

Are you sure that command is correct ?

It wont work for me on openSUSE.

What does work is:

guus@linux-0pkp:~/LMMS_AppImage> ./lmms-1.2.0-rc5-linux-x86_64.AppImage

Then suse says:
Carla appears to be installed on this system at /usr/lib[64]/carla so we'll use it.
/tmp/.mount_lmms-1EmmawE/AppRun: regel 17: ldconfig: opdracht niet gevonden
Jack does not appear to be installed. That's OK, we'll use a dummy version instead.
Notice: could not set realtime priority.
