How to change an individual notes volume in piano role?

I am working with chords and a melody and I want the melody to stand out more, so naturally I want to increase the volume of these notes. Unfortunately, I find that if I try to adjust some of the notes that startt around the same block, it affects the others at that time frame and all the notes get boosted. I tried to look for responses online but I only found a vague guide in Spanish. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
