My "alien friend" has a story to tell. It involved being captured, kidnapped and being thrown in a sterile padded cell in some instituition/laboratory where experiments and other such tortures were planned for him, thus leading to his attempted breakout and escape...

...well, at least that's what he told me anyway. Here lies a rough draft of the beat that will help outline this story in it's entirety. A "WIP", if you will.

That is good.
I do believe your percussion clip the lead. Listen at 1:05, you can hear that the lead arp is pressed down in volume by the other elements(?)

Hey, so far this sounds really good!
It has a unique style to it too, especially when the synths play.

Thanks, glad you liked it. I'm a fan of synthwave so I wanted to make a beat with that synthwave/80's-sounding influence.
