General advice for a song

Hi guys, first time poster here :)

So I started fiddling around with LMMS a few months ago and used it as kind of a sandbox/scratchpad. I had no previous experience in music making and I learned quite a bit from this forum.
I've never felt comfortable enough to post a song, but I thought for general tips you guys/gals could have. As an example, if my mixing is off, if you hear something weird etc.
I wanted to make the melodies myself, if you hear something wrong about them tonally etc. let me know :)

Maybe these kinds of posts aren't allowed, fell free to delete it if this is the case.

Maybe a few infos about this snippet of a song:
Piano: PATMAN with the 001_Acoustic_Brite_Piano tone.
Flute: PATMAN with the 075_Pan_Flute tone.
Drumsamples: musicradar-techno-drum-fx-samples, 513TubeDrumHits_Wav_SP

I hope this post does not seem like me begging for advice.

Have a nice day everyone!

Great track, from start to finish, but it lacks a development and an end ... I hope you will continue on it.

I feel that you already have some experience with music.

This music is really good. And I like the ambient house style of this. 8-)
I would say, that this track is 90% complete. All it needs, is a tad more, to make it sound
a bit more complete. Especially during the ending part. :)

Actually not no :) But I'll take this as a compliment.
I always wanted to make music because I thought about melodies etc. a lot. So I decided to give LMMS a try because I was on Linux and did not want to pay a horrendous sum of money for a DAW. When I started a few months ago I didn't even know what Major/Minor were. Well, I still don't really know. I just really like playing around with sounds.

But thanks! The hardest part for me is keeping a song interesting. I can come up with a melody, drums etc., but actually making a whole song out of it is really hard...

Yes, I struggle with the ending, but I left it unfinished just to post it here because I wanted to hear some opinions.

Is PATMAN not used a lot? :)

Not everyone uses it. But it's a cool plugin though. :D
