Hello

i'm making a basic psytrance kick+bass using peak controller to add punchy effect.
But i can't supress the noise that it gives to the bass without changing the current decay+attack parameter that i like as they are.

Do you have a solution for that ?

here is the file project:

Indeed, for some reason, the peak controller has undesirable artifacts in some cases.

For an alternative, you can see the Umcaruje tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Il0OH4I0-LE

Sidechaining is infact only an automation of the volume, in specific instrument(s)
You can simply add an automation in the shape you need. That is btw how sidechaining is done in fls

Do you know what causes these artifacts?
Is it linked to the temporal resolution, the passage through a large number of values in a very short time?

It not predictable. Not every dial does this.

Thank you for your help,

i succeeded to recreate the same effects without noise using the first solution :!:
I think that in the video he forgot to mention that you actually have to link the S/C level button of the Calf compressor
to the peak controller.
