While trying to make a song, i noticed certain VST's make a crackling sound when played. It only happens to some of them.
I have tried to lower the volume, change instrument (in the same VST), and lower the oscillator, all to no avail. I also exported the song and the crackling noise did carry over.

I recommend you to get newest RC

I do not know if that will fix your problem, but from RC5 there has been improvements in VST support, and bugs has been removed
Have you made sure that those VSTs can pass the 5-point-test?

If not, they are no good any way :p

I discovered the problem!
Apparently, there was a single VST that made all the others crackle. It is really weird too since some of the VSTs affected were from the same author.

Ohh -Good find!
And -yes, its odd that one devs VSTs interfere

I just watched the vid. That was an interesting thing, you discovery there.
