I downloaded a midi VST that does not generate sound, so I have to route to an instrument to have sound, how to do that?

You need to use VesTige to load the VST into the LMMS.
Go to Instrument Plugins, drag the VesTige to your Sound Editor track list. When opening the Vestige instrument, you can Load any VST by selecting the folder where you saved your VST plugin...Usually it's a DLL file.

Not all VST's are compatible with LMMS,https://lmms.io/documentation/Tested_VSTs so you must be carefull with the one's you chose.
You should know which VST's work with your LMMS version and your respective operating system.

You should also check if your system is 32 or 64 bit. Most Vsts are 32 bits.

If you are using Linux you should follow this guide: [https://everythingisamiracleblog.wordpr ... s-in-linux].

If you are using Windows, you should try to download the Vst appropriate for your system (32 or 64)
