I put an instrument in song and beat editor simultaneously

I didn't even have the beat editor open. I took the sweep pad preset for Bit Invader and put it in the song editor and a while later opened up the beat editor and it was just waiting for me. I have no idea how it happened, unless maybe i double-clicked it accidentally... is that a thing?
This isn't really a problem... I just want to know how it happened so i can do it again.

YEP :p
-The safe way to add tracks is to use right mouse on the preset in side-bar, and choose from the context-menu. I never drag presets nor samples, only vanilla-instruments, because they
have no context-menu. :)

Oh okay, cool! I have trouble dragging sometimes if I have too many instruments in the song editor but I didn't know there was an alternative. Is there a better way for the vanilla instruments?
