moved all the .dll files from LMMS to Plugins so afterwards I had to continuously attempt to open LMMS, reading the error messages and *copying not moving* all the files that were creating the errors back to the LMMS folder.
Okey, yes -That would indeed be a problem, but as i read this, you omitted to UN-INSTALL the flawed installation,
before you tried to re-install a new pack.
That is generally a receipt for serious trouble, with ALL programs, not just LMMS!
I will just here list the sequence everyone must follow, if they believe they have a flawed or faulty LMMS installation:
*Back-up your own stuff
*De-install current installation
*(re)move the config dot-file
https://lmms.io/wiki/index.php?title=LM ... h_Settings
*
Un-install your current installation-pack
*download a
fresh new installation-pack either x32 or x64 of
LMMS 1.2.0 RC7 Orange buttons!

Linux-users need the AppImage on the Linux-tab!
https://github.com/LMMS/lmms/releases/d ... 4.AppImage
*re-install
as administrator
