Snap to grid in Song Editor

Would it be awesome to have a snap to grid in Song Editor exactly like the Q symbol (1/16, 1/32 ..ect Lock) in Piano-Roll? that will make the production so much easier instead of using quantum Maths to sync the samples with the Beat..

When I record from my midi controller, were the note lands in LMMS, depends on the Q setting. ( and my timing)

Noo You are not meat to synch that way!
Current LMMS does not have any features to 'stretching' recorded samples. Instead you need to use something like Audacity.
Having a Q feature in song-editor, would- im afraid, create severe confusion, and i do not recall any other DAW that has this feature
