How to make the melody match the chords or that matches some other solo?Anyone have any tips? everything is on the scale, but I have difficulty with other instruments

Your bass is the key. You need to follow the bass with the other instruments. The most common problem is usage of a minor chord, where a major chord fits (or vis-a-vi ofcause). That sounds horrid in most circumstances (-But Great in horror movie-tracks :p)

Start there, and if you still have issues, you need to show what you have done, eg post a mmp

Very fine! You have lovely harmonies and everything is in scale. The track has a kind of Mike Oldfield feeling. Nice!
