I can only get it to play the first three seconds if that. Is there any way to make it play the whole loop

If you added the sample in a Sample Track you need to extend the sample at the end. Place the mouse cursor at the right edge and when the cursor change to a ↔ you left click and drag to resize the sample. If you added the sample in an Audio File Processor, which is one of the pluggins, you either extend the note in the Piano Roll editor or, if the note is a beat note (default in the Beat/Bassline) you turn up the time of the envelope components Delay, Attack, Decay and Release. This latter way works even if the envelope isn't turned on and this behavior is because of a known bug.

In AudioFileProcessor AFP you also need to mak sure, that your
Start-point and your
end-Point are both placed correctly at start and end.
