Have a good day
Hard for me to comment on whether it is good or bad, with hip hop and rap my experience would be limited.

I would have been a listener many moons ago to Public Enemy & Cypress Hill,

Your track, It sounds like it flows very well and structured well, thats all i can offer.

This is a really good submission for BOL6.

My big tip for you would be, if possible, to make the sounds in the track
eg. The bass and steel pan sounding synth sound
sound a tiny bit heavier and fuller. But I will admit, they sound good as they are though. :)

Thank you! yeah I've been trying to work on my sound engineering a bit recently, especially low end frequencies (listen to my track Bones - I think I did a pretty good job on the subs here!) as they'd been sitting in the 20-30hz range which is good for subs but not good if you don't have subs lol, hence why a few of the bass-y parts in the track are almost inaudible through phone speakers, for example.

I think I might remaster it at some point though and get soundcloud pro to reupload, if I ever have the money free

This is my first and only song so far, i have four more currently in the making this past three weeks, reckon i have at least another two to three months work left on them, i think you get best listening if you use good set of headphones for this track, its quite 'busy',

This is sick haha! Techno is my other 'favourite' next to hip hop! The track has a really nice hard techno/donk vibe which ilike (reminds me a bit of russian village boys gabber type stuff)

One thing I would suggest for the intro: where the kicks speed up at 0:58, have 3 bars with the kick drum at 1/8 then the last bar at 1/16 (1:08) as otherwise it sounds a bit drawn out - would make the drop a bit 'sharper' if that makes sense?

I love the delayed bass synth right at the beginning though! real nice timbre.

Have you got a soundcloud or youtube? if so let me know and will sling you a follow, am interested to see more!

EDIT: jeeeeeeeeeeesus the drop at 3:20 is hard - very driving

Yes, i know exactly what you mean, Would you believe, I settled for that drawn out sound, I deliberated on whether I should or not have changed it to make the drop sharper like you said, in the end I went with the drawn out sound, it was inspired by,

Moby – 1000

The final bars where the beat is fastest is actually shorter than the preceding beats, but sounds very long.

Well noticed and pointed out because as i said, this was one area of the finished track i toyed with the most and questioned what i should do.

Glad you liked it, i wanted to introduce a stark transition that was more low key/quieter than the start of the track but really gave energy to the track.
