Synthesizer in Bass/Drum Pattern

Hi Guys,
would it not be nice if we could use the Synthesizers in the beat pattern? Right now there is just a long duration synth sound. Or am I missing the point?^^

I know we are not supposed to use Synths in the BB editor, but i have to say, you can acheive some great sounds with VST's used in the BB editor.

I have experimented with the Same VST of the note the same duration in length in the BB editor and the Song editor, subtle differences become noticeable and it can add a great little twist on the sound sometimes.

Also, having them overlap in the BB editor can create unusual effects.

I say, whatever works for you.
