Settings reset to default everytime I launch LMMS

LMMS's settings are reset to default everytime I launch it. Another problem is following: any sound coming from the program sounds odd (hard to describe). I've tried to reinstall LMMS, without results. I've also tried to disable every codec/filter that might cause problems. Are there any solutions for these problems? Here's a sound sample of piano01.
