How do i make the samples i import play less than one second

Hi, i've just recently downloaded lmms and have a bunch of samples that i would like to import. i'm trying to make a lofi remix, and what the hihat samples to play twice in one second to make a cool sounding beat, but i can't seem to do that, every sound i import plays no more than once, same for other samples. how do i place the samples to play less than one second apart or right after each other?

trying to to play samples twice in one second

To do that you must open the Beat-track in Piano-roll:
* Right-click the beat-track
* select: open-in-piano-roll

Now you have a stad. piano-roll and you can set the quantisation to a suitable value for your fast hats, and insert normal notes. Obs
You may also need to change the envelope in the instrument:
