Hi,, I have windows 10 and Lmms 1.2rc8 and I have downloaded a vst bass but I cannot find a folder to put it in, can you help please.

vst folder to put it in

You place the dll or the folder with the dll in the folder defined in your Settings as VST-plugin-folder
Default it is: C:\Program Files\VstPlugins\
To use it, you drag a VST-instrument



in song-editor, and browse to the VST you like to use, by clicking on the bright-green folder-symbol on the UI of this VST-instrument container

Thankyou very much ,, as you have guessed I am a novice so I need all the help I can get.
By the way I am looking for a couple of vst instruments to download but all I see are plugins which seem to be composing progs so what should be my actual search phrase when looking in google?. I am after a tenor sax.
