most people use other applications and import them into LMMS, i wish you could do it directly but sadly i dont think you can

Yeah, that feature is not in lmms yet. But hopefully one day, in the not too distant future. But for now as musikbear mentioned, use audacity or audacity portable, to record audio and vocals.

I don't think audio recording is ever coming to lmms pal. Best bet is to use audacity or switch over to a real daw like FL studio.
