Sounds all garbled

So I'm brand new to LMMS and every sample sounds like something straight outta Asteroids on the Atari but compressed a few hundred times. Any and all help appreciated.

You most likely have chosen a wrong sound-backend in your SettingsSounds all garbled

Here in this select you need to choose the one thats goes in your OS. If you are on Windows, select SDL
