I realized that I was trying to compose for genres that are currently beyond my ability of raw synthesis. If my ability of raw synthesis were that of the 80s, then why wasn't I making 80s style music.
I think of the days during that era, the birth of the internet itself, massive waves of change surging throughout the global culture. And how that era continues today
