I put a couple of screenshots into a thread I did recently using the img BBCODE tags (links to imagebin.ca) but they don't show up - there's just a placeholder.

The editor says "[img] is ON", and the links are correct, so what's the problem?

Yes, that's exactly what I have done.
I read that before I posted.

so, I have an image at imagebin.ca

I have a link for the image at imagebin.ca here https://imagebin.ca/v/58HU26jmlUEZ

and I have put the link between img tags



and it doesn't show up.

The link probably need to end with some thing like .jpg .png or another picture format.

What a pain in the arse. imagebin links work on other BBCODE forums.

I also faced a similar problem and couldn't find a solution. I thought the issue might be with the format of my image and tried uploading but it didn't change anything. Obviously, the problem is not with the image format.

This forum is a bit inferior when it comes to posting images.
You need to upload the picture to a picture-portal like iMgur, then you need to bring the image up on the page, meaning you cant get the correct link from am oversight of your pictures, it has to have focus!
Then right-click it, and select copy-image-link.
Now you are ready to insert the image in this forum-page.
Click the image-icon, and you get Then insert the image-link from the image-posting-portal: Then you get this:
