lmms on chromebook not working

I have a chromebook and just found out about the linux feature. I downloaded it and got lmms through the terminal but everytime I open the application is starts flashing from the regular screen to certain areas blacked out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am sorry. (Currently) lmms does not work on chromebook OS. There is nothing to do.

I have heard you can install Linux on some chromebooks.

I have no idea if you then still can use chrome os though, or if youre entirely switching to linux then.
