Trying to make a track like jean michel jarre, so I need a phaser

Is there a way to set the speed of the phasing ?

And how to automate it. (jarre like)

What knob do I want to automate ?

Been trying the amount knob, but that does not seem to do anything about the speed?

I added a phaser to zynaddsubfx.

I don't like how fast it goes from left to right.

I use linux too and as a phaser i now use stonephaser whic is a simple lv2 linux phaser plugin, works well and is quite simple to use

Does not in 1.2.1

But if that linux thing wont work then you wrote

Have you tried the internal phaser? It is very good!

I am a bit ahead of this in lmms, Trying to add calf phaser to zynaddsubfx, and some variations
But then I get a panning I don't like, which I cant seem to slow down.
Wondering if its the phaser plugin or zynaddsubfx.

This calf plugin comes with LMMS. (at least for me on Linux)

As far as I know its not lv2.

That why I am a bit confused about what Sahaathyva said.

Edit: Uploaded latest version from my pc.

Strings are zynaddsubfx preset, jarre strings

Oxygene wind = triple OC.

Arpeggio is also triple oc. (two layered)

1:22 attempt at using phaser.
More to the end used again.

Sorry Gus I made a mistake.
Stone phaser is available as ladspa fx

I use it as lv2 in ardour and as ladspa in lmms

Regarding the phaser, i was asking you for a link to how Jarre 's own phasing sounded, but i would think -knowing his tracks, that the effect you are looking for is a slow phasing -sweep like(?)
Again the internal phaser in zasfx not only does that, but also have ~10 presets with excellent phasers.
Try the insertion-effects! I am almost sure made a tut on using effects in zasfx y back, :? -Its gone.! Ehhh. :ugeek:
I better do a new one then :p

.......Of cause there is an aber dabei ..
The internal zynaddsubfx phaser cant be automated! There are no dials for that :|
Is that why you have disregarded using the internal effects?
