I keep trying to open a plugin into vestiage and it wont load. LMMS also crashes when this happens.

Are you using vst2 format of your plugin? Vst3 is not supported. What is the plugin name? And what platform you ste using? Some more info would be helpful for better answer from devs

The plugin was vst2 and the name was DSK Overture. I use Microsoft Windows also.

please post your:
* Name of your Operative System (Windows/ Linux/ Mac) And subtype ('Home' 'Mint' '10.13' aso)
* lmms version
* hardware specification (ram & soundcard is the most important)

When I first used LMMS several years ago it would take around 30 minutes for DSK overture to load then it ran ok. Don't hit any key or the mouse and step away from computer for a long time to see if it loads. If it does I guess your hardware is too low.

I'm also getting the same issue, no VST plugin will work via Vestiage.

I'm currently running:

LMMS - 1.2.1
Manjaro - 19.0.2

I'm not for sure on which version of Wine is running, or any missing libraries. However, I know it's running since I use Steam for Windows games.

I'd love to use DSK instruments if at all possible.

Type this in a terminal to find your wine version.

Do you have wine mono installed and wine 32 bit ?

So, looks like wine-5.5.

Will have to install mono and see what happens.

Looks like a recent version of wine.

I have wine 5.6.
