Sometimes when I create a beat/bassline pattern, I'd like to have a held note near the end, but any notes that extend into the next measure increase the length of the pattern by a measure. This means I always have to cut notes short near the end of the pattern, where the beat/bassline loops. Is there any way to work around this? Maybe tell lmms to keep the pattern 1 measure long even if a note sustains past that? This has been really bothering me for a while, and I can't find any way around it.
sorry for the late responce, your post only appeared today
B&B lines uses something we call 'no-lengths'-notes'
They are green and cant be resized, in piano-roll.
What i guess is that you have made you pattern in B&B with normal piani-roll notes (blue and resizable), and then you will have to set the looping manually, as you already had griefs with
Does that sound right?
You get no-lengths'notes if you place one note-event in B&B and then open the track in piano-roll, click on the green note, and all new notes will be no-lengths'notes
