Shapes wav making pffft noise only?

Hello, whenever I try to listen/sample any wav in the My Samples/shapes folder, it only makes a pfffft type noise - no sample sound.
I reinstalled the program but it's still doing it.
All of the other folders/samples work fine. Any input?

OS?
does those wave-files replay normally in other applications?

@ dllbarnone . the shapes are designed to be played as a constant loop within the
AudioFileprocessor as they are just a small sample of a few msecs. to achieve this just click on the icon/button "
Loop sample at start-end point"

Yes, these are single-cycle waveforms (sin, square, tri, saw...)
