[solved] VST GUI doesn't appear on LMMS running under Wine

I've been using the AppImage version of LMMS under Ubuntu, since the version on Ubuntu's repository lacks support for VSTs. It works fine, but will eventually crash, more frequently when there are many VST tracks involved. I've been managing to work with it by saving constantly, specially before doing things that will once in a while cause a crash (like playing the whole track).
It's however annoying sometimes, so I downloaded the windows version (both 32 and 64 bit) to try to run it under Wine and see if it would be more stable. It looks more stable, but right away I noticed the GUI from VSTs would not render properly. The VST would load, and play alright, but when I opened the GUI it wouldn't show the controls, but usually glimpses of whatever was in the background.
I'm wondering if that's fixable, because the GUI is there, just not rendering properly. I can see it's there because some parts of the GUI show when they move (i.e.: those small squares at the right bottom of Synth1 when you play a note, they move and you get to see them)

Anyone has any idea what that could be?
