Hello,

I've been learning LMMS and analyzed Angry Llama demo project, one thing there don't understand. There is main bass line in LB302 instrument, which changes instrument settings from 5th bar, producing different sound. But there are no automation or controllers in the project at all. So how is that possible? Is there some other way to change instrument during play?

Hello,
Hi, Welcome to the Forum vuk !

no automation or controllers :: Is there some other way to change instrument during play?
Yes LB302 emulates the famous TB303 asid-bass generator, that has portamento or 'port'
Port forces the sound from current pressed note to start at the pitch of previous played note, and then slide up to its own pitch. There is will enter a steady state of its own pitch.
That means that port almost is non with 2 adjacent notes, but very dramatic over octaves
First you need to enabled this port
* Lowest panel select slide
Then you ned to set the time of the slide
* Upper panel : dial Slide

-But as i said 302 emulates asid bass 303, and that has nothing to do with slide.
Asid bass dependes on high amount of resonance and position of your filter-cut-off
I have once made a tut on asid sounds:
