Cloning the 'beat & bassline'

Hi everyone,
I don't get why the cloning of the 'beat & bassline' make the both elements be linked like if I add or remove an instrument in one of them, the second will have the same change. Is it normal? If so, I don't get why.
I looked into the docs, the git and the forum without finding relevant elements about it.

Yes its normal. It all comes down to a principle of either reusing instruments, or reusing MIDI-notes. The philosophy behind is that it is more 'expensive' to load a whole instrument in memory, that it is to make a doublet of MIDI-events (notes)
So in LMMS you can use the same instruments in all your variations!

It may take a bit of 'ice-breaking', but it really a smart way to reduce memory usage.
