Trying to figure out a VST with multiple outputs

Hi, I'm very new at making music and using DAWs. I got a VST that has multiple outputs. I've already read that LMMS doesn't support VSTs with multiple outputs, however, I was wondering it if was possible to make it so that the VST only has a single output? As I said, I'm very new with DAWs and VSTs etc, so this might be a stupid question and not possible. Still, I wanted to ask nonetheless.

If you add it to the VST-instrument-container:

does it make any sound at all?
please post your:
* Name of your
Operative System (Windows/ Linux/ Mac) And subtype ('Home' 'Mint' '10.13' aso)
* lmms
version
* lmms
sound device chosen
* hardware specification (ram & soundcard is the most important)
