Randomness knob in Zyn's effects.

I'm using phaser effect with a bit of randomness in Zyn and it seems the track sounds different each time it is played. Sometimes it is very good. Or maybe it is my imagination that it is changing? My question is the randomness fully baked in each time you play a track or is each play a bit different? If it is different I assume recording a long loop to find the best would be useful.

One of the features in zasfx is randomized overtones. A few presets uses this
What is the name of the zasfx-preset?
Are you using zasfx' own phaser, or have you added one on the FX-tab`?
Can you make a recording of the output?

I exported a track twice and inverted one of them in audacity and played it with the non-inverted track and it did not totally cancel out so I assume it is perfectly normal that playback will be slightly different each time you play a track with some randomness turned on. Yeah I'm using the phaser effect in Zyn. I think it sounding good sometimes maybe due to the built up/additive effect sound from Zyn when you loop it instead of allowing all the sound to end before the track starts again.

Absolutely -if there is randomness in the render, then ofcause two render wont be identical.

.
A good effect, but i asked you for the name of the preset, because i assumed you was using a factory-preset, but as you now tell us that you have added phaser inside zyasfx then that is not valid -You should however root for your dial-candidate for getting automateable zasfx control :P
