It’s not often you get to hear about cut content from songs people make. Way back before Stakeout Punch and I made our collab Start Again, the foundation of the collab was an unfinished song concept for a happy hardcore song.

Back when I first was making that concept, I sat down and did a little improv. at my piano. A lot of that material never saw the light of day.

That is until I started working on my VIP remix. The laidback, relaxed sound of the song allowed me to reincorporate material I left on the cutting floor.

So I present a small snippet of that cut content, slightly altered in the context of my VIP edit of Start Again.

I really enjoyed the original version, but this one with the piano also sounds beautiful.
By just hearing the VIP remix, it sounds very well produced, but if I compare with the original track the music seems more clear.
On the other end, your VIP edit sounds more full and natural, probably more enjoyable and relaxing, because of the ambient noise you've added.
Both versions have enough mind candy for a great song.
