Hi, when I play a anote on the piano roll, i get what sounds like an effect rather than the piano sound, how do I get the piano note to sound correct (ie. C sound like piano C?

The piano roll does not makes sounds.
The sounds come from the instruments, you put in the piano roll. Like the triple os.
So I still have no clue on what you mean or are trying to do.
