To import into another DAW?

Nevermind, I didn't realize you can export midi and it combines all the tracks into one midi file and then you just open the file in another DAW and it does what it does, i opened my LMMS midi file in Cubase from a LMMS song i created because i am remaking the song in Cubase and i opened the LMMS midi file and it tracked out all the instruments and midi data, that was amazing! This will make my remake easier!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did you export a multitrack song from LMMS, and that MIDI-file imported correctly in cubase?
Our midi-export is flawed. No other software has been able to load MIDI-files exported from LMMS.
LMMS cant import MIDI-files, exported from ..LMMS :|

Yes, Cubase tracked out all the midi tracks from LMMS and loaded them onto the project window as midi tracks and assigned the tracks to the HALion Sonic SE 3 VST, the drum track is the only thing i think is missing so far but that is fine i can redo the drums

Also i am a kind of a newer Cubase user but have been using it for a good while and was wondering how to use that HALion VST with the different instrument slots on it and i figured out how they work accidentally from importing the midi tracks from LMMS, collateral learning lol

Also i went from LMMS to Cubase one reason was because automation, the mixer faders would freeze in LMMS when you automate an instruments volume so trying to adjust mixer fader volumes after volume automation is impossible, but that same thing exist in Cubase you have to change volume of an instrument by clicking volume automation points after instrument volume automation, my work around for fader freezing in Cubase was to send the instrument bus to another mixer bus and automate that buses volume so the original instrument bus i can still change the volume freely after volume automation, i guess i could have done that in LMMS

And i appreciate all the help i got from you when i was new to LMMS as does everybody, i can still create from LMMS and will still need help, i know i did not use LMMS to it's full potential, in some forums you receive no help really except from other users and not developers and coders and people who know their way around software, i think your a coder???? developer lol

That is so.. well ..unexpected
But one thing..
Are you using Official 1.2.1 or one of the experimental versions of Master ?
In the top your screen, it will show what version you are using.
The official release only shows "LMMS 1.2.1"
If you have a PR-build from someones distro, it will show as "LMMS 1.2.0-rc7.xyz"
-where xyz is a number, like 1.2.0-rc7.265
Then at least there was some kind of explanation :|

All that participate in the project are part of development, and that is one of the really strong features, because LMMS is user driven, and every user-input is considered as improvement of the program. The big commercial pros does not listen to their users, the same way :)
