Hi. I have looked at LMMS and think it looks good for my 11year old who loves composing his own music. Is the windows version able to be used completely offline? We only allow internet access when we are in the vicinity and need a package that doesn't require internet access to use once downloaded. Thanks for any help the forum offers.

LMMS does not need the internet to run.

As Gps said LMMS is a standalone program like msWord
After DL -and you should ONLY do that here:

the Only relation to the internet, is the manual, and you can print that out, though it is a lot of pages. Alternatively You can use the option 'use ofline' in your browser, and a complete copy of the whole manual can be created on you local pc. I recommend that.
