can i use zip.files in lmms?


i keep searching for it but can never get a straight answer.

Just try it, and if it does not work, you need to unpack the archive.

You can open and play from zips, but you cant save edited files. That is due to windows, but i wonder if you can do that with 7zip! I need to use that when i update code inside program-files
Soooo i tried..!
Not only can you do that!
You can even do it with mmpZ files inside a zip-archive!
Just open the zipped lmms-file through a 7zip-browser, and you are good to go
That is actually quite interesting on several levels
I should maby write a tutorial..

Make NO mistake!
When something like this is done, there is automatically more risk of errors!
Errors means lost projects
- we still have BAK files -though
