Audio Exactly Half a Measure Behind

I decided to go ahead and install LMMS 1.2.1 onto my Gallium OS installation, and I quickly discovered that it was not working correctly. No matter the tempo, no matter the sample/instrument, I would hear the audio 2 beats after it was supposed to play. This happened on PulseAudio and SDL. On ALSA, it played at the correct time, but it was incredibly crackly, and on the rest of the audio backends, I wasn't able to use them. I'm installing an older version from the Bionic Beaver package list to see if the issue remains as I type this.
Version: 1.2.1
OS: Gallium OS, latest version
Audio backends: PulseAudio & SDL have the laggy sound, ALSA has the crackly sound
EDIT: Fixed! It was a CPU usage issue, so I had to close out of the game I had running in the background!
