Issues with the reloading of projects

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
So, I use some vst-Plugins and sometimes, when I reload a project, the vst-plugin doesn't load. LMMS says then something like "For some reason plugin whatever could not be load" (I don't know for sure, because LMMS isn't set to English).

It happens not that often, but if it happens once, it starts happen more, so even more plugins (mostly it's the same plugin in a few instances, because I only use that one, but it happened with another plugin too) start not loading. It's not working until I restart my computer.

So, might it be possible, that it's my computers fault, because it's not very powerful? I have 4gb RAM and 2.1 GHz Duo CPU (I know.. but I'm about getting something more powerful). Thanks for your help!
oh you pc sounds just fine - twice mine actually..
No something else is the problem
You do know that your vsts dlls must be in the folder you have listed as vst-folder in settings?
https://lmms.io/documentation/Working_w ... nt_Presets
-and that you cant move them!
If you still have the problem after reading and implementing that pages information, do post here again, because then it is an other problem, but usually we solve them ;)
Well, unfortunately I didn't move them! No, it just seems that a plugin (as an effect on an instrument) just doesn't load by coincidence! It's an EQ called Equilibre and I use it on almost all intruments. Sometimes, when I reload the project on some instruments, like the kick, does it not load, but on all the other intruments it does load. After restarting my computer it starts working again.

It could be Equilibre, but I also had this issue with Fnequalizer, so I think it's something else than the fault of the plugin. Equilibre is the only plugin I'm using right know. Thanks for your help anyway!
ahh -that problem -yes i can explain, but not solve it. It is the vst, and the problem is a result of the way new settings are saved from the vst: bloated chunks
Short version: some vst save erroneously enormous chunks of data. Those chokes lmms.
But you do not need a graphic eq on all presets (imo) You can do fine with ladspa 10 bandEQ.
I recommended it in this tutorial
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0mFHDyWGh9c
-and it is in fact a great eq, and it does not bloat your project at all
For advanced eq'ing we recommend either easyEQ or NyquistEQ
Hope this solves your problems
Well, thank you for your help! I'll try to use the 10band EQ as much as possible.
