Let me be perfectly clear, I am a HUGE fan of LMMS and I wish it the best. That being said though, I have noticed some annoying glitches/quirks that make using the program a little annoying:
1: The space bar is not solidly linked to the stop/play buttons. It will pull up the last synth or side window you selected, which can make fine tune adjustments rather irritating.
2: The pointer in the piano roll will be in select mode, yet the button will say it's in draw mode sometimes when editing patterns. You have to manually change the mode, then set it back to draw mode for it to draw/detune. This usually happens when opening a piano roll window for the second time.
3: Note volumes in the piano roll cannot be adjusted en mass unless they are stacked. This makes silencing drum rolls a bit time-consuming.
4: The undo feature will erase automation patterns and replace them with a full window. e.g. I have wub, (lowpass knob cutoff automated in peaks). If I delete the automation pattern, then undo the delete, i get (I'm not sure if this is all of the time) the peaks erased and replaced with the cutoff maxed out at 14kHz.
5: A synth's name is not transferred to the preset window. It sounds petty, but it can be bothersome (especially while sandboxing) to rename a synth, then have to retype the name again when saving it as a preset.
Just some issues I've encountered. Thanks!
