Can I set an external plug-in in My Preset to stay there?

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
I will use the instrument sounds from my own vst/plug-in all the time when I use LMMS. It's pain to set up the plug-in for each track (I might under estimate the capabilities of LMMS). AM I able to setup my own plug-in and make it stay in "My Preset" each time I launch LMMS?
yes, just save the vst-preset as a lmms-preset:
On the VST lmms-ui click the 'disk-icon' top-right
point to the sub-folder of your choice in My-Presets and save.
That preset will now be available as any other preset, in My-Presets, and appear in the smart search, as well.
Thanks. Got it, but one problem: how can I change the number (1/0) under the word "Preset" to something else? BTW, what do these numbers stand for, namely 1 in 1/0 and 0 in 1/0? Does it mean first preset "sound," "plug-in" or else? thanks
Also, I need more than 8 different instrument timbres from my VST plug-in. Do I need to drag the VeSTige to the song editor each time for a different instrument timbre from the SAME VST plug-in?

The VST plug-in shows a workstation type of graph which has 16 different channels that contain 16 different instruments. How can I transfer the same instrument preseted on my VST plug-in graph directly to LMMS' preset without loading all 16 VST plug-in graphs on the screen?

if its a different dial-setup inside the vst, yes

What vst is this?
An lmms preset can only harbor one vst-setting, but you can perhaps use the 'control vst...' -eg the Wrench button. Here you get access to most vst-contollers, and you may be able to switch to a different channel inside the vst

is how they look in synth1..

Unless you simply are talking about content in vst-banks??
Those you can switch to with the 3 buttons '<' '>' '^'

Also you should read this:

(and the whole wiki :p
Musikbear, thanks for the replies. I did not know there was a documentation on LMMS. I downloaded and installed about 4 or 5 DAW before LMMS just to see which one suited me better. I gave the previous ones up, due to lack of documentation and almost no tutorial on Youtube for them. The link you provided would help me understand LMMS more.

I use Garritan Personal Orchestra Aria Player as my plug-in:

You see, there are 16 channels for different instruments. How can I link the different channels in LMMS directly and just load ONCE; and they would all appear on LMMS song editor tracks?

Here is the image for 1/0 as I mentioned in previous post. Look at the blue mark:

I saved the sound of "FlutePlr1" to LMMS's preset. This sound appears to be 1/0. When I saved another sound "OboePlr1," which is in the directory now, but it's replacing FlutePlr1. In another word, LMMS is not saving my preset according to the sequence of the sounds I saved, but only the latest. How can I make all the presets of sound I save all be useful?

I am sorry musikbear. I am totally new in DAW, so I am not sure about the exact meaning of each word usage. Is my vst-plug-in what you meant by "vst-banks?"
How come my image links do not work here????
You had a bad syntax for images. Fixed that for you ;)
Thanks, smarty :-)
