Even on the PC monitor some parts of LMMS' interface were too big for my taste yet didn't bother to try to change that.

Can't.

Everything else but the interfaces for LMMS and Musescore 2 are of okayish size.
Changing the resolution or aspect ratio didn't help.
Did some research on "fractional scaling", but it won't help as it can't be set below 100%, if I got it right.

Now I think that maybe there's no other way to fix this than to change something in the code of LMMS / Musescore 2.

That is not something we will look at.
I dont think any computerprogram will look ok on a TV, games are build for that, but apps.. ?
