is there a default in the LMMS interface?

Hello,
I just installed LMMS. Seems very impressive at first sight, but I encountered 2 major problems though:

- 1: the tonality effect doesn't work properly as I refer to an old guitar solo sample I made with Midisoft Session a long time ago: the tonality MIDI control helps changing the frequency of a note, that allows to give a choke guitar effect when you use a progression of changes with that control. In LMMS, the effect is run, but badly: When it is ordered to lower the note by one tone, it does only one half. Has the standard been changed, or is it a bug in LMMS?

- 2: having an old MIDI score of 10 MIDI tracks including 2 tracks for a piano, I notice that LMMS automatically mixes tracks 1 & 2 that represent the left and right hand of the piano, though they appear separately in another sequencer. But even worse, it changes the duration of the notes: Many notes have been set with a long duration, as if the forte pedal was on, but LMMS shortens their duration, though my old MIDI soft respects the programmed duration correctly. So, in what case and for what reason does LMMS change the duration of the notes?

Thanks a lot if you can help me on these 2 points.

-A few rules and useful forum instructions

- 1: the tonality effect When it is ordered to lower the note by one (whole)tone, it does only one half.
In lmms you can change a semitone in two ways:
Detune in piano-roll

or
By automation of the pitch-dial

Witch one are you having this issue with?
- 2: having an old MIDI score of 10 MIDI tracks including 2 tracks for a piano
I need to see that MIDI-file
