[SOLVED] High CPU Usage + Too many "loading track" messages

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
Update: Turns out all that time I had my beatmap editor open and it was taking EVERYTHING in, so I had 2 beat tracks with a bunch of presets inside of them.

--------

OS: Ubuntu 18.04

I have this project that puts my cpu on red while idle. I have a laptop with a 8th gen i7. LMMS v1.2.1, I'm using the AppImage and I have not installed anything extra.

The project has only 5 tracks I can see; however when I open this project on LMMS, while the project loads I can see in the dialog showing "Loading track xxxx... 1/377" and its listing and loading a bunch of preset as if they were tracks, it takes a while to open, and once it finally does CPU usage is through the roof, even on idle.

I was working fine before until I did the following: while one of my tracks was playing back, I started swapping its preset with other presets (just drag and drop on the icon of the track) because I wanted to see how they sounded. I tried a lot of presets this way (I dont think 377 tho...) all while playback was happening. I stopped because I started noticing the song wasnt playing right anymore, some notes were muted and I saw the cpu usage was now on red.

Closing and re-opening LMMS didnt help, nor did restarting my laptop. I can create new projects and open other old projects. I could recreate this project since its a rather small thing but I'd like to know if this is expected or if I did something wrong by swapping presets like that.
