LMMS libwinpthread.dll error

Having trouble with LMMS? Ask about it here.
Hi there.

I have a problem where many people have had trouble loading VST plugins. Let me preface it with this: Everything was working fine until an hour ago. I had no problems with loading VST's such as Spitfire LABS etc. I reopened a file I had been working on only to see an error popup

"libwinpthread-1.dll was not found"

I checked my program files to see that the file was still there. it hasn't been removed by windows defender or any other software. it was still there. I tried reinstalling the DAW to see if that would fix the problem, but that did nothing as well. after that popup, another one shows up saying that it can't find the VST's even though I have put the location of the files in the directory. This has only ever happened today. Any other time I used it, I had no problems until today.

Wondering if there is a fix to this?

Operating System: Windows 10
LMMS Version: 1.2.1-1.2.2

I would say that it is windows that has semi-crashed.
If you practice to 'sleep' windows and not shut down, then these kind of annoyances are more common -just saying
Cold-boot your pc, and i hope you should be good to go
Let us know the outcome :)
