I'm currently using a Mac version of LMMS and gradually getting used to it.
I found out how to duplicate a track, but what I now need is a way to delete an unwanted track.
I'm really surprised that "obvious" things don't work. Surely there must be a way.
Could someone let me in on the secret please!
PS: I think I found a way.
Go to the track, and click on the cog wheel icon, which results in a menu appearing. The options are:
Clone this track
Remove this track
Clear this track
FX 0: Master
Midi
which apply to Midi tracks. For other kinds of tracks the options may (will?) be different.
It seems best to clone the track first, even if part or the whole is to be removed, as lmms doesn't appear to have a workable Undo feature. So clone the track first, so there's a copy, then select the part to remove and click on the cog wheel for that track, and remove it. If that goes OK and as hoped/expected, then the additional cloned track can also be deleted.
